Hampshire Record Office Display *Ruth Andrews*

	As we reported in the last newsletter, we set up the HMG display at the Hampshire Record Office (HRO), which you see in the pictures. The display was up until Thursday 29 February, and after that we are hoping to display all or part of it in other places. We have already had one request from Eling Tide Mill. The display occupies 6 panels; the first two are shown on the front cover, while here are the rest of them, and a display cabinet with examples of HMG publications. These boards belong to HRO, so when we take the display to other places (as we have been asked to do), we will have to adapt it as necessary. Although HMG has its own display boards, they may be too small.

Some comments:

Julia Sandison (who asked us to create the display): Just a quick note to say how lovely your exhibition at the Record Office is � lots of really good photos, just the right amount of information with the pictures, and an excellent range of photos showing people working there. Thoroughly enjoyable and one of our best, I think! Congratulations!

Alison Stott: Yesterday I went to Winchester to go to the Record Office to see the HMG display... and I thought it was really excellent. You have done a great job and all the photos and descriptions looked extremely professional. It was nice to be reminded of so many projects that we did over the years.

Ashok Vaidya: Jane and I went to the HRO exhibition yesterday and I must say I was very impressed with what had been prepared. The range of topics, the explanations and the quality of the display were excellent. There were several other people while we were there also looking at the displays. Well done to the HMG!
